Uphole Seismic Survey in Delhi | {Shijay Project}

Delhi is a seismically active region and has experienced many earthquakes in the past. To assess potential seismic hazards in the region, the government has commissioned an uphole seismic survey in Delhi

The survey will involve drilling holes in the ground and setting small explosive charges. The data from the survey will be used to create a 3d model of the subsurface which will help geologists to better understand the seismic hazard in Delhi.

The uphole seismic survey is expected to take place over the next few months and will be carried out by a team of experts from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Uphole seismic surveys are used to determine the subsurface geology of an area. The Delhi area is no different, and many surveys have been conducted to better understand the earth beneath our feet.

The most recent survey was conducted in 2016 by the Geological Survey of India. The survey looked at the subsurface geology of the Delhi Area to better understand the earthquakes that have occurred in the region. The results of the survey showed that the Delhi area is made up of two different types of bedrock. The first type is a sedimentary rock, which is created by the depositions of the sediments. The second type is metamorphic rocks, which are created by the heat and pressure of the earth’s crust.

The survey also found that the Delhi area has several fault lines, which are areas where the rocks have been broken. The fault lines can cause earthquakes when they move.

The results of the survey will help geologists to better understand the earthquakes that have occurred in the Delhi area and will help to improve the safety of the region.

seismic surveys are a type of geophysical survey that is used to assess the subsurface conditions of an area. This type of survey is typically used to locate oil and gas deposits, but can also be used for other purposes such as assessing the sustainability of an area for construction.

Uphole seismic surveys in Delhi have been conducted for many years, and have proven to be a valuable tool for assessing the subsurface conditions of the city. The data collected from these surveys can be used to locate potential oil and gas deposits, as well as to assess the sustainability of an area for construction. Uphole seismic surveys are a relatively simple and efficient way to collect about the subsurface conditions of an area. The data collected from these surveys can be used to make important decisions about the development of an area.
